Phil Newton opened Termite Control in 1934, performing only termite work until 1952 when general pest control was introduced. For the next several years the majority of work performed dealt primarily with termites. In 1971 Roger Delk took over the ownership of the company and continued operations in the San Joaquin Valley. Roger’s son Steve was promoted to general manager in 1986. With Roger’s approval in 1988 Steve decided to change the company name to Delk Pest Control to promote the general pest branch of the business. General pest control became predominate within the company in the early nineties, and since has expanded services into many other counties throughout northern and central California. In 1996 Steve purchased the company from is father and is still currently president of the business.

We have carried the same philosophy that has been carried down from one generation to the next. Above all our customer base is essential to our business. This is why we have an understanding at Delk that customer service is our number one priority.
